Infant Chatter

Isaac is nearly 19 months old now (when do we stop talking about his age in months?), and is picking up several new words per day. Here's a brief list of what we've got so far:

Mama, Dada, Tessie (any cat), Wawa (water), Waff (waffle), Cake, Up, This, Park, More, Please/Peas, Hop-Hop (rabbit), Moo, Baa, La la la, Bee, Papa, Baby, Book, Nuk, Becky, Ball

At one point, Lori and I wanted to try to write down all of his words, but within a week, there were too many new ones to keep up. I'm amazed at the speed at which he learns. I get the feeling that his vocabulary is already determined, and that his mouth is just now beginning to actually form the sounds. He continues to entertain us and keep us laughing.
